started of with a new heritage shell in june 2008, shell was complete with bonnet doors and came in primer

then decide to make it a bit different and fit a zeemax kit to the shell

kit was bolted and bonded to the shell

with a few trial fits before the bonding took place.

serval fine fills and sanding was also part of the time taken to fit it.

took nearly 1 week to fit the kit until i was happy with it. before preping started for painting
nearly ready for paint shop. was the usual you think all the filling and rubbing down is complete then push it outside into daylight and see all the missed bits!!!

took the car down to local paint shop . FOZ SPORTS.( THEY DO ALL BMW AND HARDIES INSURANCE WORK)
DECIDED ON MY COLOUR WHICH I WENT FOR MG ZR TROPHIE BLUE

After 4 coats the colour started to show how i was looing for it

when shell was away for the week i decided to build a new engine.
started with new recondition gearbox

then bought a new engine to bolt onto the gearbox. (quicker than building up one from scratch)

engine was all put together with new competion clutch , high lift rocker etc

and finished of with polished rocker cover.
engine and box was completed and just in time for shell coming back from spray booth

engine was dropped in straight away as it was then out of the way to give more room in garage.

then went onto the front brakes. fitting new 4 pot calipers adjustable track control arms,
along with new adjustable tie bars and gaz shockers.

rear was still to be on drums. again all new parts.

with matching adjustable gaz shockers.

brakes were fitted with braided lines as required

with engine already i place started bolting on rest of the parts. with competion inlet manifold and
new 1.3/4 carb

before car even got on the road decided to change suspention set up from standard rubbers
to coil spring set up.

then fitted the gearlever and housing after reconditioning the old one.

decided on a centre exit exhaust which had already been on and of the car about 10 times during the body kit fitting. as i wanting tail pipe to sit up into kit.

with the drive shafts coming back from being powdercoated yellow, i got the fitting with all new cv joints and boots.
